Welcome to Eyes for Nature
Hello Everyone (or just me)!
I guess my first post will be the hardest since it's less about nature and more about making this place feel welcoming.
Much like my about page....I mainly created this blog because I'm a newly realised nature lover and the experiences I'm having are so fantastic I thought why should I keep them to myself.
As I get more into the swing of things, I will hopefully fill this space with lots of posts on my travels out in nature. Being from the North East of England, my entries will be focused mainly around the Tyneside and Northumberland areas.
I started off with a fascination for birds, however that has now expanded into a fascination of all things found in nature (biting off more than I can chew right??). There's so much going on out there and I just want to identify it, take photos of it and write about it all!
As I write about my time in nature, who knows, I might be to teach you some things. I've still got a lot of learning to do myself so you'll have to excuse me if instead of teaching, I'm just getting all giddy about the pretty bird.
Speaking of pretty bird, to finish my intro post I have included my one and only picture of a Kingfisher that I spotted in Gosforth Nature Reserve. What a beauty!
